In 2011, in the rural community of Los Altos de Sucre, Venezuela, I coordinated the project Arte Los Altos, a cross-cultural collaboration combining community art and ecology.
I invited international and local artists to facilitate participatory workshops, including contemporary dance, storytelling, puppetry, and a nature school. The two-week project culminated in a presentation to share our creative work with participants’ families, opening a multigenerational dialogue about the future of the village.
This project was realised at Terra Ventura, a family-owned lodge dedicated to holistic wellbeing and reconnection with the natural world.
